Cannot say enough wonderful things about Nola Vows Photography. Kathy and Doug were so great and easy to work with throughout the entire process! The best part about working with them is how passionate they are about what they are doing and how genuinely excited they are about making your day special and what YOU want. It was awesome having both a female and male available for the wedding day in order to shoot the girls' and guys' experiences. They provide you with a detailed survey months in advance to get all of your ideas, concerns, etc. answered. The pictures are breathtaking, and they do an amazing job at capturing every special moment that you may not easily remember on your own. I could go on and on about my experience with them. Kathy and Doug really captured the spirit of our wedding day. We had an outdoor wedding with several locations that the team handled seamlessly. Their professionalism and training are evident from the first consultation. But, their ability to stay cool on a day with unexpected delays and not contribute to my stress was invaluable! The photos were beautiful and romantic, fun and candid, loving and sentimental. Not only did Kathy and Doug capture special moments between my husband and I, there are so many wonderful shots of family and friends as well. My guests really enjoyed being able to view our wedding online and order the prints they liked. The only problem is finding the space to hang all these beautiful photographs. As our daughter and her fiancee announced their engagement we began plans for the wedding. Photography was important to my daughter and son-in-law. Nola Vows Photography was a priority. Kathy and Doug are both highly experienced photographers and they complement each other with a respectful approach, as Doug photographs the groom and groomsmen getting ready and Kathy the bride and her bridesmaids. They spend time with the bride and groom in advance to determine what they want their wedding day to look like. They visited our reception hall and church ahead of time to know what was important to capture. They are personable, professional and very willing to please their clients. Every part of the wedding from the beautiful Catholic Church to the reception in the French Quarter will always be memorable as we look at our wedding albums. -Cindi
